John Spangler is a versatile "M-Shaped" professional with over 30 years of technology experience, combining deep expertise in Technology Management, Analytics, and Lean/Agile practices. Currently serving as a Senior Lean Coach at FirstBank, he specializes in optimizing complex technology delivery environments through advanced analytics and Lean Portfolio Management. His background includes 9 years with Big 4 consulting firms, certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and ITIL Expert. He’s a 2nd generation Lean Coach attending one of Deming’s last Quality, Productivity and Completive Position seminars at the age of 21 and the first DevOps Enterprise Summit. Drawing from his extensive experience across banking, healthcare, technology, and government sectors, John’s current focus is leveraging data science and decision intelligence practices to create positive outcomes for organizations.
